Your home inspection report from Pecar Home Inspections, llc will give you a "snap-shot" of the current condition of the home and a basic understanding of it's systems. On the day of your inspection, we encourage you to join us and follow along. You may learn a thing or two and you'll have an opportunity to ask questions about specific points of the home as we go along. We will go over the exterior, interior, attic, crawlspace or basement, and the home's hvac, plumbing, and electrical systems.
You will be provided with a personalized digital report complete with photos and links to helpful information. We will deliver your report via email before we leave the home, in most cases, to help keep your negotiations moving smoothly. Along with the digital report, you may also request that a hard copy be mailed.
Along with your home inspection report, we encourage you to take advantage of our radon testing as well. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in The United States. The Michigan DEQ reports that 29% of Oakland County homes have unacceptable levels of radon. Macomb and Wayne counties follow at 11% and 17%. Getting your home tested is the first step in protecting your family. You will be provided a detailed report summary in addition to your inspection report. We offer a discounted rate when combined with a home inspection, just ask!
Radon gas is commonly found in Metro Detroit area homes. Be sure to have your home tested along with your home inspection. The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality is an excellent resource for more information.
